60,000 meet to discuss politics and democracy

Jeppe Høst and Niels Jul Nielsen participated in 'Folkemødet' a People's Forum, gathering politicians, NGOs, lobbyists and around 60,000 civilians over four days. Jeppe took active part in two panels, one trying to setup a new way to account for the performance of rural areas, the other discussing rural areas, youth and mobility.

Folkemødet had over 1200 events and discussions so there was plenty to engage in. With the parliament officially closed for summer, politicians, media, lobby organisations and many more take time to meet with each other and civilians. It all add up to a very special athmosphere and with substantial disuscussions over the future challenges for Denmark.
